SARAH UNRUH

Born in Chattanooga, TN, Sarah Unruh has always had an interest in making things with her hands. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Furniture Design from The Rhode Island School of Design. Before creating COSMOS TEXTILES, she spent time working for Martha Stewart, BDDW, The Food Network, and Dakota Jackson. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

She draws inspiration from fellow craftspeople and builders around the world who transform simple resources into beautiful and practical designs. She created COSMOS TEXTILES to revive the lost craftsmanship of the past while creating new objects with a meaningful history.
